It started with WP Griffin's idea of selling mini potatoes in microwaveable trays. But there’s a long journey from idea to actually seeing a new product line on retail shelves. Our role was to fully brand the product line, and work directly alongside WP on packaging options while being mindful of adhering to retail requirements plus CFIA’s updated rules. Then there’s the pitch to the retailer where we find out if all the hard work paid off with a commitment to carry the product. And with an enthusiastic thumbs-up, Potato Cuisine flavours are currently being sold in Sobeys, Foodland and participating Co-op stores from Newfoundland to Ontario. Now that’s no small potatoes!
